Finally – Back to school?: Coronavirus ‘silent spreaders’: children who seem healthy may be more contagious than sick adults, study says. Researchers at Massachusetts General Hospital & Mass General Hospital for Children found that among 192 children, 49 tested positive for the coronavirus & had significantly higher lvls of virus in their airways than hospitalized adults in intensive care units, according to the study published recently in the Journal of Paediatrics. Kids are not immune from this infection, & their symptoms don’t correlate w/ exposure & infection,” said Dr. Alessio Fasano, senior author & director of the Mucosal Immunology & Biology Researcher Center at Massachusetts General Hospital.  Findings cld have implications for plans to reopen schools in the middle of a pandemic.
