Finally:  The end of buffets? In March, the FDA issued a recommendation for all self-serve food bizes to be closed until the pandemic subsides.  Buffet self-serve lines often lead to customers crowding & the open-container presentation of the food seems particularly unappetizing w/ the virus is easily transmitted through respiratory droplets.  Hotel giants MGM, Hilton, Marriot, & 4 Seasons have eliminated their buffets entirely, & experts agree the chnge is likely permanent.
